IIFL Wealth & Asset Management, the wealth management arm of financial services firm IIFL Group, has hired a former partner at consulting firm AT Kearney as its chief operating officer.
IIFL Wealth has roped in Anshuman Maheshwary as its COO with immediate effect, the company said in a statement on Thursday. His role will include designing and implementing the business strategies for the company besides setting the goals for long-term growth, the statement said.
He will work closely with company’s managing director and chief executive officer Karan Bhagat, it added.
Bhagat said Maheshwary’s expertise in business and strategy planning would benefit IIFL WAM’s growth ambitions. “His ability to implement large-scale organization transformation and performance improvement will deliver tangible impact for our clients and employees,” Bhagat said.
“I look forward to the new opportunities this role brings in spearheading innovative processes and technology across the group,” said Maheshwary.
Maheshwary, who is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru, has over two decades of experience. AT Kearney, he looked managed leadership for business strategy, procurement and supply chain, organisational transformation and strategic due diligence, among others. Previously, he worked with multinational logistics firm DHL also.
IIFL Wealth & Asset Management is the investment and financial advisor to more than 13,000 families in the high-net-worth individuals (HNI) and Ultra-HNI segments in India and abroad.
